About

GAIJIN (外人)

A Japanese word composed of two kanji: gai (外, "outside") and jin (人, "person")

We utilize the term with a positively recontextualized perspective or pun play, rather than its sometimes perceived controversial and negative connotation.

With an emphasis on:

1. OUTSIDE / OUTDOORS

(get out in nature and actively utilize these designs as intended)

2. OUTSIDER

(counterculture and the beauty of individuality)

And,

RECYCLING

(recycling the love that went into designing these pieces, furthermore peacefully protesting fast fashion and its negative effects on nature/ humanity)
